There are several different species of stinging insects native to the Pacific Northwest. Many, such as honey bees, bumble bees, and mason bees, are non-aggressive and serve a vital ecological function. However, some species of stinging insects, particularly yellow jackets, wasps, and hornets, can be extremely aggressive and require removal.

When dealing with stinging insects, our primary objective during our initial inspection is to locate the nest and identify any conducive conditions that may be contributing to the infestation.
Stinging insect nests can be found in a variety of different locations. Yellow jackets normally nest underground, but have been known to build nests in bushes, shrubs or under the eaves of a house or shed, similar to wasps. Hornets, on the other hand, tend to nest in very high places, such as trees or attics. Once the nest has been located, we will treat it, and whenever possible, remove it.

Bed bugs can be a major nuisance. Due to their quick maturity rate, longer lifespan, and skill for hiding, they can be especially difficult to treat.
Our CustomCare™ Program is designed to provide fully custom solutions for the unique pest control needs presented by pests, including attic and crawlspace clean-outs, implementation of extensive exclusion methods, bird prevention work, as well as one-time treatments for various insects and spiders.
Some pests require custom solutions to be successfully removed and controlled. This includes termites, woodboring beetles, and birds.
TREATMENTS
Depending on the nest location, your technician may use either a dust formulation or liquid product to kill the nest. Removing an externally located nest is fairly straightforward and non-invasive. Often times, however, stinging insects will make their nests in the wall void of a structure that isn’t accessible for removal. We will, however, make every effort to remove the nest from your property.
In these instances, our technician may need to drill into a wall void to better access a nest and apply the treatment. Drill holes are kept extremely small (1/16th inch) and caulked after the treatment is finished.
